The Method
Four moves you can run when everything else has stopped working.
Not a mindset. Not a mantra. A sequence — short enough to remember under stress, and specific enough to act on.
Protocol
Name it.
Say precisely what the pressure is. No denial, no drama. You cannot manage what you refuse to look at directly.
Shrink it.
Reduce “everything” to the next thing you can actually finish. Pressure is only unmanageable at full scale.
Run it.
Act on the procedure, not on how you feel. The protocol carries you when motivation won’t.
Close it.
Finish the loop. An open loop keeps drawing on you long after the task is over — closing it is what protects the next one.
“I didn’t learn this in a classroom. I learned it on the days I had nothing left and still had to deliver.”Michele Roys
